Financial Controller

Working alongside the Finance Director the FC will have responsibility for two Accountants ensuring accurate and timely completion of work including AP/ AR accounts preparation etc. Additional responsibilities will include;

• Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management accounts and reports.
  
• Assist in the coordination of the annual audit with external auditors on all property related matters.
  
• Work alongside the Finance Director implementing a new state of the art Yardi accounting system.
  
• Assist the Finance Director with preparation of annual property budgets.
  
• Building relationships with various stakeholders including Institutional Investors Development Managers Property Managers Asset Managers etc.
  

• Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
  
• ACA/ ACCA/CIMA/ CPA qualification with c. 5 years post qualified experience.
  
• Previous real estate/ property mgmt. industry experience preferred. Candidates with extensive property industry experience but lacking full ACA/ ACCA qualification will also be considered.
  
• Proficient in the use of accounting software (Yardi experience highly advantageous). Prior experience to a system implementation highly advantageous.
  
• Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organisation good judgement showing logical decisionmaking and have a handson approach.
