For our client in Brussels, a fast-growing Hotel Management Company, managing 10 hotels and 1500 rooms, we are looking for a Financial Controller.
You will be part of a dynamic and motivated team. Office located in Brussels with easy access via all public transports (Metro + Tramway + Bus).
- Prepare and analyze feasibility, cashflow reports of in-pipeline and on-going development projects.
- Prepare and follow up rental reports of the Groups student housings, residential buildings, office buildings.
- Follow up loan agreements, terms, payments with banks.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports when required.
- Support CFO in strategic matters and consolidated reports.
- Highlight potential improvements when needed.
- Act as a counterpart to external stakeholders such as the board of directors, shareholders, banks, business partners, investors.
- Closely cooperate with other internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, development), e.g., on transactions, hotel operations or in project development.
Profil
Requirements
- Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Prior work experience in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or consulting
- Prior work experience in hotel and/or property management is an advantage
- Experience/Expertise in financial analysis, financial reporting
- Self-starter, problem solver with analytical and strategic mindset; strong analytical skills, affinity to numbers
- Independent and well-organized when working across diverse tasks
- Initiative, proactive and result-oriented approach to work
- Interest in property and hospitality management
- Team player with an international mindset and intercultural skills
- Strong communication skills in internal and external settings
- Excellent English and French language skills (working language). Good knowledge of Dutch is a plus
