How youll make a difference:

Were on the lookout for a highly motivated Financial Controller to be a vital part of our team and contribute to our ongoing success! As a Financial Controller at nuud youll be the financial backbone of our operations overseeing all aspects of financial management. Your responsibilities will extend to making complex financial bookings preparing management reports and budgets engaging in discussions with management regarding monthly figures and providing valuable financial advice. Simultaneously youll manage payments and optimize financial processes contributing significantly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Administration: Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Cash Flow Management: Keep a keen eye on receivables payables and liquidity needs. Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decisionmaking processes. Offer insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Continuously evaluate and enhance control procedures.
• Tax Compliance: Work closely with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns. Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the company.
• Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during financial audits.
• Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Lead special projects and initiatives assigned by senior management. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements

Who were looking for:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accountancy or related fields.
• At least three years of experience as a Financial Controller or (assistant) Accountant demonstrating progressive responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Data skills in reporting monitoring and forecasting.
• Experience with financial systems and software (e.g. Exact online and Odoo).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
• Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
