Financial Assisstant

My client is looking for a fulltime Finance Assistant to join our European team in Amsterdam. In this position you will be offered a varied role which covers all general aspects of financial accounting and comes with the potential to develop further within the company. This role will be an integral part of the Finance Department and has the goal of developing the right candidate to be responsible for one of the European branches.

Main responsibilities & support areas:

• Preparing and processing Purchasing invoices
• Preparing and processing Sales invoices
• Booking of bank statements
• Preparation of weekly payments
• Handling and processing of expense reports
• Applicable general ledger control
• Any other duties deemed appropriate to this role

Required Skills/Competencies

• Administrative education at MBO level or equal by work experience
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations (Mandatory)
• Working knowledge of Excel Word Outlook
• English language (native or business fluent)
• Experience with SAP B1/ SAP S/4HANA is advantageous
• Flexible and dedicated
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Accurate and affinity with numbers analytical skills and detail orientated
• Good communication skills
• Calm and professional attitude
• Proactive and handson selfmotivated
