Financial Analyst

• RM Notes –

o This position is with the KINTO team which is a new initiative in Toyota where they’re renting out vehicles.

o The team is in need of a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for managing monthly business financials (AR/AP), creating financial reports, improving the financial processes, etc.

Required skills –

3. Advanced skills in Excel

4. Good experience with PowerPoint and ability to be able to do presentations for high level executives

5. Intermediate skills in Visio

6. Bachelor’s degree is preferred or Manager is good if the candidate does not have a bachelor’s degree but has equivalent skills

Interview process –

7. 30 minutes of STAR/video interview with the team Manager

8. 30 minutes of STAR/video interview with Hiring Manager

9. Probably a 3rdround of interview.

For this opportunity, KINTO is seeking a Financial/Accounting Analyst to help

13. take on the financial accounting and reporting process,

14. improve, standardize, and automate those processes, and

15. be the KINTO liaison to the TFS accounting team.

The ideal candidate should have accounting or finance experience, be self-managing/motivated, and be comfortable working in a start-up style environment (i.e. constant changes, ability to make decisions based on limited data, take on responsibilities outside of the traditional financial analyst role)

What are the Roles and Responsibilities of this role?

o Manage monthly business financials (AR/AP)

o Create financial reporting for internal stakeholders and external customers

o Mature the financial processes and refine existing models

o Manage invoicing

o Work with the TFS Accounting team on cross functional projects pertaining to KINTO

o Work with the product owner to design product enhancements

• Requirements:

Must Haves:

o 3-5 years of experience in finance and have expertise in accounting, forecasting, and modeling

o Able to build a financial report

o Attention to detail, organized, and exceptional problem solving skills

o Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

o Experience with processes design/management

o Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:

o TBP training (internal candidates) or can structure problems in a logical way

o Process improvement experience

o Start-up experience

o Project management experience

o Experience with Tableau or Power BI
