Our Client is a leading charity operating across Ireland supporting some of the most marginalized individuals couples and families experiencing Homelessness.
Currently Hiring an experienced Financial Accountant for their Dublin Operation. Full time 35 hours per week we are open to flexible working arrangements 1 year fixed term
Key Responsibilities
- oversee various financial functions to ensure the smooth operation of our organization
- processing supplier invoices on Sage preparing payments reconciling supplier statements and obtaining proper invoice approvals.
- Preparing bank reconciliations managing accounts receivable by generating invoices processing them on Sage and following up with outstanding debtors.
- Provide support for Payroll processing on Sage Payroll and reconcile suspense and other balance sheet accounts.
- Perform variance analysis and provide detailed commentary on the results. Furthermore maintain the fixed asset register by processing monthly depreciation and updating the register accordingly.
Requirements
- Quick learner with the ability to proficiently perform various financial accounting tasks
- Experience working with Sage Accounting and Payroll software packages.
- Either fully or partially qualified as an accountant (ACCA CIMA ACA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a related environment
- Ability to effectively balance multiple competing work demands and thrive in working to tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skills and have experience with systems upgrade projects including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
