Financial Accountant

Our client a leading semistate company are looking to hire a newly qualified financial accountant to join their Dublin team. This role will report to the Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be a hybrid position.

• Providing technical accounting support to Corporate and Business Units.
  
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and customers including corporate teams financial planning & analysis team business units and external auditors.
  
• Monitoring accounting (IFRS) technical and commercial developments and advising on their impact on the financial close of the Group
  
• Coordination of the annual audit process engagement with external auditors and delivery of outputs to key internal and external stakeholders as required.
  

Requirements

• Newly qualified/1 year PQE with recognised accounting qualification (ACA ACCA) or partqualified accountant with relevant work experience.
  
• Highly motivated able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  
• High level of technical accounting competency and strong analytical skills.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
