Our Client is a leading charity operating across Ireland supporting some of the most marginalized individuals couples and families experiencing Homelessness.
Currently Hiring an experienced Finance Manager for their Dublin Operation. Full time 35 hours per week
we are open to flexible working arrangements.
Permanent Contract

Key Responsibilities
  • To oversee Finance teams by effectively managing the teams operational tasks in a timely efficient and effective manner while making sure that all financial governance procedures are adhered to.
  • Preparing management accounts and other financial reports concerning KPIs and variances for numerous users (Boards statutory funders ELT and LMTs) to review.
  • Oversee all facets of financial control such as general ledger banking reconciliation payroll (NI in collaboration with HR People Partners) creditors and debtors.
  • Create recurring financial predictions and cash flow projections.
  • Encourage the annual statutory audit as well as any additional reviews or audits of the financial department and respond promptly to any suggestions made.
  • To oversee the application of regulations and the early adoption of best practices in accounting for management and required reporting.
  • Establish strong accounting and payment procedures as well as controls over fundraising and rental income.


Requirements

  • Accountant with a qualification (ACCA CIMA ACA or equivalent)
  • Two years minimum of postqualification experience with experience in process development and management management accounting and the payroll function.
  • Knowledge of funder reporting requirements and experience providing homeless services supported housing or a related field are advantages.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and payroll software programmes and proficient use of Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands at work and meet deadlines.
