Finance Manager

This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Commercial Services Finance team. This dynamic team drives the Finance Planning and Analysis functions across our clients Commercial Services division; including their third party distributed labels for Brands eCommerce Marketing and business units.

Reporting to the SVP Commercial Services Finance this role will lean in to assist with each of the FP&A functions within Commercial Services. This position is a handson role working in unison with the SVP Executive Finance Director Manager of Finance and other members of the Commercial Services Finance team as well as various other departments.

This position will be involved in the monthend close process in coordination with our central accounting team interim forecasts various ad hoc analyses and providing departmental financial support.

This position is based in Santa Monica California.

Responsibilities:

• Key contributor to the financial planning analysis and reporting processes for UMGs Commercial Services group.
• Support role for Commercial Services Finance team with various crossdepartmental initiatives.
• Assist with monthly close and interim forecasts as needed.
• Support SVP Finance Executive Finance Director and Manager with adhoc analysis as requested by strategic partners and executive management.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in finance with strong accounting acumen; a CPA would be a plus.
• A minimum of 8 years of financial planning analysis and reporting with strong strategic analytical and finance skills.
• Proficient in the use of Excel accounting and financial applications software; Hyperion Financial Management SAP and BPC planning experience would be a plus.
• Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills plus excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Must have the legal right to work in the U.S
