In a nutshell

Were looking for a Finance Analyst who will join a small team of diverse specialists responsible for improving our Finance & FinTech organization every day. We continuously seek to optimize our processes improve our systems following the expansion and partner with the entire Finance team to create new ways to enhance control on our business. This team is responsible for delivering on the annual Finance roadmap that is prepared together with our Techteams and youll be able to drive (parts of) these projects.

An example of projects could include the further automation of price & inventory checks automated anomaly checks & followup or further control mechanisms on our procurement & emballage processes.

In a typical week youll start with a weekly standup with other Analysts do a project in collaboration with multiple international business teams dig into data sources to find root causes of errors in financial reporting and work rather independently on the milestones of your own projects. Furthermore you will design and manage new financial processes from start to finish which support the growth of Picnic.

What youll do

• Take ownership in your projects of the Finance projects & innovation roadmap
• Build models and execute data analytics to understand trends in our financial reporting and support our controllers
• Participate in certain activities in the periodic reporting
• Build a relationship with various business teams across the Picnic organization
• Align with the finance team on your projects and improvements
• Show a handson mentality in our daily finance operations
• Be a good team player and not shy away from supporting with adhoc requests

About you

• 13 years of experience in a Finance role preferably within Transaction Services Financial / IT Auditor or as a BI specialist.
• You strongly demonstrate analytical capabilities (e.g. Excel SQL PowerBI)
• You have a minimum University degree (preferably in Finance / Business Administration)
• You enjoy diving into Finance processes and using Picnics digital tools to drive efficiency
• You have strong systems affinity are eager to learn and always strive for improvements
• You have a natural pragmatic mindset without compromising on quality structure or efficiency.
• You have a strong interest in tech integration & Techsolutions
• Fluency in English both verbal and written Dutch French or German is a plus
• ERPsystem knowledge (specifically Workday) is a plus
• Willingness to work from the office in Amsterdam at least 3 days a week
