Finance Assistant - Chinese Speaker

About the Department

The Finance department within BYD Europe is a business support unit which deals with payables receivables reimbursement and all financial related issues

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the companys financial policies and procedures.
• Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
• Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy.
  
• Assist in the production of financial statements and applications preparation of spreadsheets reports and correspondence as required.
• Review and audit financial statements and reports ensure all calculations and data entries are correct;
  Assist with end of year preparation and procedures;
  Answers questions and provide assistance to stakeholders customers and clients as needed;
  Help to develop and test new finance products procedures and tools;
  Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy efficiency and cost reductions.
  Support Finance department team members with other tasks.

Required skills qualifications and experience:

• MBO or HBO education in accounting.
• 13 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Advanced spoken and written English and Chinese language skills. Other languages are bonus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions);
  
• SAP user experience will be an asset.
• Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
• Detail oriented and good with analyzing large data.
