HVAC preferred but not required

Set up and instrumentation of split systems in psychrometric and/or sound & vibration rooms
Modify and fabricate test units and test setups as directed by responsible engineers or technicians
Aide in managing various inventories
Fill in for experienced project and/or sound & vibration technicians as needed to execute test plans

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under moderate supervision performs varied tasks of intermediate complexity
Applies intermediate and some advanced skills to perform the position within the assigned area
May adapt new procedures techniques tools and equipment to meet more complex testing requirements
Resolves most questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels
*Education / Certifications
HS Diploma or Associates degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
*Experience/Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems
Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
Mechanical Aptitude use of basic hand tools in a lab environment

Education:

HS Diploma/GED
