Overview:


Field Service Technicians play a pivotal role in delivering mechanical and technical support for processing and packaging equipment at customer facilities with an unwavering commitment to exceptional service. This dynamic position entails investigating and swiftly resolving customerreported technical issues to ensure the seamless operation of equipment and lasting customer satisfaction. Travel:


This role involves frequent travel necessitating overnight stays in serving customers across designated regions. Technicians will utilize both air and ground transportation with arrangements provided by the company. Flexibility is crucial to accommodate the schedules of internal and external stakeholders including occasional weekend and offhours work. A flexible scheduling model may require ten consecutive days of work followed by four days of rest with travel on short notice to meet customer demands.


Core Responsibilities:


Conduct troubleshooting and installations of complex processing and packaging equipment adhering to customer specifications and company standards.

Efficiently repair equipment addressing mechanical electrical pneumatic and robotic challenges to minimize downtime.

Serve as a communication liaison between customers and the company providing updates on service efforts and addressing customer concerns promptly.

Coordinate with schedulers maintaining work quality and quantity and ensuring timely completion of assignments.

Arrange travel in accordance with company guidelines keeping stakeholders informed of arrival times and managing logistics efficiently.

Provide training to customers on equipment operations maintenance and parts ordering ensuring their comfort and confidence in equipment usage.

Document service activities and expenses accurately and promptly adhering to reporting timelines and costeffective practices.


Essential Qualifications:


Preferably possess an Associate degree or equivalent technical diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Demonstrated experience in field service or similar roles with a proven track record in installations and troubleshooting.

Proficient in electrical principles including Ohms Law multimeter usage and blueprint interpretation.

Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues and reading schematics.

Ability to work independently coordinate travel details and provide exceptional customer support.

Proficiency in electrical pneumatic mechanical and machine shop skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
