Weekly Schedule (how many hours/days): 40 hours OT depending on season
Start date will depend on when seed comes in and when planting can start. Likely no earlier than April 1.

Farming Equipment experience required; CDL preferred; NE Pesticide Applicator License preferred; Computer experience required

Travel: April/May/June and again in October 23 nights per week (NW Kansas NE Colorado West Nebraska) Corteva will pay and book all locations.

As a Field Research Assistant you will plan and execute the safe and efficient daytoday management of phenotypical research at the North Platte Nebraska Research Center. You will be involved in all phases of trial execution from planning planting assessments and harvest to meet data quality goals. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for collaborating in a team environment where evolving technologies in agriculture are driving product development.
This position will be onsite at the Corteva location in North Platte NE
Responsibilities What Youll Do:
Assist in data collection for phenotypical testing programs ensuring highquality data is collected.
Monitor trial locations to assess and communicate appropriate management practices when needed.
Lead in site safety culture and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Maintain or improve efficient daily and seasonal workplace operations.
Job Qualification
What Skills You Need:
Minimum of High School Diploma/GED.
Knowledge of agronomy crop production plant development and experimental field plot design is a plus.
Demonstrated problem solving skills strategic analysis and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail in a deadline driven environment.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary software tools.
Ability to develop a working relationship with team members by exhibiting excellent communication and personal interaction skills with a diverse group of people.
Ability to operate agricultural equipment while observing all safety requirements.
Must be capable of working in varying ergonomic and environmental conditions for extended periods of time.
Flexibility to work extended days at critical times of the season. Some overnight stays during planting and harvesting required.
A valid drivers license is required and a CMV license is preferred for trailer towing.
