Our client is looking for a Field/Network Technician to join their team!

Position Description:

Our client is searching for a Field/Network Technician to perform onsite or inhouse servicing repair and/or installation of company product(s). During Installation Cable Pulling will be needed. This job may include any aspect of field support and is not limited to system hardware and software PC’s and IP telephony/networking/wireless networking. Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Serves as customer contact on technical and servicerelated problems. Diagnoses mechanical hardware software and systems failures using established procedures. Determines most costeffective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Equipment troubleshooting repair and preventative maintenance to the component level.
• Generates training and technical documentation of equipment/system.
• Monitors equipment usage to maintain sufficient spares.
• Indepth refurbishing of subassemblies.
• Provides training and technical support to less experienced technicians.
• Research technical details of alternative solutions on existing equipment.
• Maintains technical reference library.
• Maintains spares inventory.
  

• Repair installation and troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical bench test equipment/instruments
• Soldering skills.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits/schematics.

• Networking/hardware certifications
• Experience maintaining Infinity Lane System
• Ability to troubleshoot RF/AVI systems.

• Typically requires a minimum of 4 6 years of related experience.
