Field IT Technician Glasgow Central Belt
We are hiring for a senior IT technician with at least 2nd line level experience ideally also including some field experience. You will be able to handle complex issues and fault find to fix the issue.
Working for an SME this role will develop into a head of technical as the business grows while the MD is concentrating on Sales and development of the business. You will work from home each day with some field work too. Your own transport is essential and the business will pay you .45p per mile.

Lead projects ensuring successful completion as the primary coordinator.
Manage maintain and configure client Intune setups including phones and desktops.
Oversee regular server and system maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Perform domain maintenance and transfers working with DNS records as needed.
Conduct cybersecurity reviews according to the Cyber Essentials Framework.
Provide remote assistance to users troubleshooting over the phone.
Liaise with vendors to resolve technical issues.
Document knowledge base articles for use by other technicians.
Offer general IT support such as network storage security and server deployments.
Required Knowledge:
Indepth understanding of Microsoft 365 environments including EntraID Intune Exchange Teams SharePoint and Defender.
Manage/ maintain/ Configure Intune for clients including phone setup and desktop setups
Ability to innovate and improve current workflows through new solutions.
Competence in automating setups using Intune or Remote Monitoring and Management tools.
Understanding of Networks and Firewalls
