Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting research for upcoming design trends and fabrics.
• Create sketches and prototypes to present new design concepts.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop mood boards and color palettes.
• Assist in selecting materials embellishments and accessories for each design.
• Participate in fittings and provide input on final designs.
• Work on computeraided design (CAD) software to develop and modify design concepts.
• Assist in creating technical packages for production.
• Ensure designs align with brand aesthetics and market positioning.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and oversee production.
• Participate in product presentations and contribute to design meetings.
• Stay updated on industry trends and fashion exhibitions.
• Assist in maintaining design archives and trend boards.
• Provide support in sample inventory maintenance and organization.
• Participate in adhoc tasks as and when required by the senior team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and creative work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Understanding of garment construction and fabrication.
• Knowledge of color theory and textile science.
• Ability to interpret trends and develop innovative designs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic understanding of production processes and manufacturing.
• Passion for fashion and a keen sense of style.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a creative team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fastpaced work environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
