Export Executive

• Making sure all the paperwork is in order before and after things are shipped (preshipment and postshipment documents).
• Getting the best deals on shipping by talking to different shipping companies (negotiation with freight forwarder).
• Planning how things will be packed and loaded into containers (container & stuffing plan).
• Working with the factory to get the things ready to be shipped and arranging how theyll get to the port.
• Working with a special company (CHA) to get permission to export the things (liaising with CHA for Export Clearance).
• Figuring out how many containers are needed based on the weight and size of the things being shipped (planning of containers).
• Making sure the containers are delivered to the port at the right time (coordination with Shipping Line/Freight Forwarder).
• Youll deal with different types of shipments like regular ocean shipments things going to exhibitions and even things being sent back to another country (ocean shipment/exhibition shipment/reexport).
• Youll attend meetings with clients and other departments to discuss how youre doing on your goals (targets).
• Youll also handle the process of getting permission to export things (custom clearance handling).
