Exasol Data Engineer

As an Exasol Data Engineer you will be responsible for the development optimization and maintenance of our Exasol database environments. You will play a key role in ensuring data is structured processed and stored efficiently to support critical business decisions. Your expertise in Exasol will help our team leverage its full capabilities from data warehousing and analytics to highspeed querying and advanced data modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and manage Exasol database solutions to support business requirements.
• Monitor database performance implement improvements and scale resources to meet performance targets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models for high efficiency and performance.
• Ensure data integrity security and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Collaborate with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to support datadriven decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and support for database design deployment and operations.
• Stay abreast of Exasol features and best practices integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance database capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience with Exasol database management including tuning optimization and administration.
• Strong understanding of SQL and experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data security practices and compliance standards is a plus.
