Job Overview
We are looking for an innovative and productive candidate to join as an Event Coordinator for a Cruise ship. You will coordinate and manage all the event planning activities. You should maintain relationships with vendors, caterers, entertainment events, logistics, and crew members.
The goal is to organize unforgettable events that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operations of events / charter
- Identifying clients' requirements and expectations for each event / charter
- Overall Backend Planning and Coordination
- Coordinating with the photographer & cinematographer
- Organizing suppliers, caterers, staff, and entertainment.
- Coordinating all logistical elements of the event / charter booking.
- Managing set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations.
- Build and maintain a good relationship with clients and vendors.
- Vendor Search and Negotiations
- Assist the creative & content team in the planning, execution and supporting the team with meeting tight deadlines.
- Food & Beverage orders as per the client s request
- Collecting Feedback from clients
Requirements / Qualification
- Degree in hospitality, public relations, management, or related field.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for the boating industry.
- Highly motivated to bring in new business.
- Computer skills are required.
- Previous event planning experience
- Fluent in English & Hindi Language
- Flexible working hours
