An experienced fragrance enthusiast having worked with different categories on global markets who can bring on board a consumer perspective directing the efficacy of the fragrance to make it more market friendly. An olfactive background is a must in order to implement a collaborative work environment and to cater to the market demand in a more organized manner.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Understanding market trends and product placement
Conduct consumer research and understand different market preferences
Maintain a portfolio of fragrances in order to respond to the quick market demands when necessary
Evaluate fragrances in application at different stages and structuring a performance feedback for the rest of the team to work on
Collaborate with R&D Marketing and Business Development teams to understand project requirements and develop fragrance concepts tailored to fabric care products
Working closely with the perfumer to develop brieffitting fragrances
Presenting & Training the team on the current portfolio and the market movers
You
Post Graduate degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Perfumery or related field required
Proven experience in fragrance development evaluation or design with a focus on consumer fragrance products
Excellent sensory evaluation skills and attention to detail with the ability to discern subtle nuances in fragrance compositions and identify opportunities for optimization
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and external partners
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
