Job Description:

Summary:The Estimator is responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with a construction project. This role involves analyzing project specifications and requirements conducting site visits and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans requirements and specifications to determine the total cost of materials labor and equipment needed for the project.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates for bidding purposes.
• Analyze and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Identify costsaving opportunities and value engineering alternatives.
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools.
• Participate in prebid meetings and postbid negotiations as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detailoriented and organized.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
