Environmental Health Officer

URGENT We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Health Officer for the Public Sector in Lisburn. The hours of work will be 9am5:30pm Monday to Friday. The rate of pay is 18.81 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations
Identify and assess potential health hazards in various settings such as workplaces public areas and food establishments
Perform root cause analysis to determine the source of environmental health issues
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve environmental health conditions

What we need from you:

Previous Experience

A third level qualification (for example an HNC HND NVQ Level 4 Degree) or equivalent in Environmental Health.

1.2 Membership of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.

Six months relevant experience in a field directly related to Environmental Health.
