Entertainment Writer

This is a remote position.

The Opportunity

Experience: 6 months of experience

Nature of Employment: Contract

As an Entertainment Writer you will be covering scripted content writing features and news pieces on them.

Responsibilities

• Write 45 articles a day.
  

• Review movies/ TV shows (thorough research skills mandatory).
  

• Monitor daytoday sport entertainment news and keep tabs on social media trends become familiar with Google Trends.
  

• Pitch interesting story ideas.
  

• Open to feedback from the editorial team.
  

• Able to meet deadlines available for realtime coverage of off field angles and sports entertainment pieces as and when they re pushed out.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in English/ Journalism/ Mass communication is preferred.
  

• Has at least 2 years of experience in entertainment reporting.
  

• Understands industry terms and has previous success in breaking entertainment reporting.
  

• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
  

• Willing to work in the night shift (7PM to 3AM IST).
