What youll do:

The engineering technician will assist the quality engineering role in auxiliary functions including:

• product teardown and dimensional analysis using laboratory equipment nonconforming material handling and administrative tasks production measurement system analysis and other tasks as assigned.
• Works in a production manufacturing group to troubleshoot problems and manage ontime delivery of production parts.
• Ontime delivery of PPAP dimensional analysis
• Accurate record keeping of calibrated asset location and expiration
• Clean and wellmaintained instrumentation laboratory
• Ontime delivery of work orders
• Efficient management of NCM quarantine area
• Dimensional Analysis using SmartScope and other handheld measurement devices.
• Management of nonconforming material from assigned production area.
• Management of all calibrated assets within assigned production area(s)
• Assist QE in administration of quality controls and documentation.

What is required:

An ideal candidate for the Engineering Technician position at Autoliv will have:

• A minimum of a High School diploma with 1 year of relevant experience; Associate degree in engineering preferred.
• Experience in automotive product development particularly with safety components.
• A mechanical or electrical device repair and building proficiency.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to quickly adapt to Autoliv systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective crossfunctional collaboration.
• An organized approach to work and time management to meet customer demands.
