Location: Luling LA 70070
Duration: 5 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Hybrid (Required to be onsite Mon Tues Thurs may work remote Wed and Fri but must be able to come to site if needed on remote days.)
Job Description:
- Ensure specific expertise is included in the project. Owner of the Master documents in the area. Responsible for quality and expertise of area or discipline.
- Excellent communication skills; customer focus; ability to deal with ambiguity and conflicts.
- 7 Years of Experience
- PPE Requirements: hard hat steel toe shoes safety glasses chemical goggles
- Typical office work with frequent field visits to obtain information from equipment and inspect construction site and construction progress
- Will only need to access areas available by stairs.
- This position will initially be focused on specifying and selecting instruments that meet our SIS requirements as we transition to a new standard.
- This is primarily a project engineer but there is a lot of field verification that is necessary to be successful so it is absolutely necessary that the selected candidate be able to go into the field and walk around while identifying equipment and installation methods.
- There are no certifications required but advanced study or experience in industry SIS practices are favorable.
