Engineering Co-op - Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Engineering Coop Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Danville KY
Duration: Contract for 6 months (May extend depending on the client needs)
Work schedule: 1st shift
Pay Rate: $20 an hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with engineering design reviews as requested
• CAD design and drafting based upon project requirements.
• Performs trouble shooting and problem solving
• Works to gain overall knowledge and proficiencies with Aerospace specifications and regulations
• Testing and training of new processes
• Develops manufacturing aids or fixtures
• Assists Product Engineers with managing and execution of projects
• Update and maintain various documents used in the manufacturing process
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Regular consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Good standing in College of Engineering
• Years Experience: 02 years of relevant experience
• Actively pursuing an engineering degree at an accredited university Interest in manufacturing and aerospace
• Strong word processing and/or data entry skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to drive tasks to completion
• Optional: Basic understanding of 3D modeling and 3D printing
