Engineering Assistant Manager - Career Maker

We are recruiting for a prestigious luxury hotel located in Bahrain who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the engineering team fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance training and support to ensure the team delivers exceptional service.
• Oversee and manage engineering projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and meet the highest quality standards. This includes renovations installations and maintenance initiatives.
• Implement and maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for all hotel equipment and systems. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for the engineering team to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors negotiating contracts and ensuring services meet the hotels standards. Monitor performance and address any issues that may arise.
• Assist in developing and managing the engineering departments budget. Monitor expenditures identify costsaving opportunities and ensure financial goals are met.
• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve guest concerns related to engineering services promptly. Strive to enhance the overall guest experience through efficient and effective engineering operations.
• Generate regular reports on the status of ongoing projects maintenance activities and other relevant engineering operations. Present findings to the senior management team as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry particularly in luxury hotels.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with local regulations and safety standards.
• Budgeting and financial management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities.
