Job Description

*Quality Engineer supporting Des Moines Works Operations
*Apply SPC and data analytics to processes to improve reliable quality
*Review warranty information prioritize quality related problems create evidence packages and apply problem resolution techniques
*Review Defects Per Unit Daily report and apply problem resolution techniques
*Review daily Quality Board metrics to determine if there are questions from our wage workforce
*Create Temporary Deviations per the JDDMW Work Instruction
*Post Quality Alerts for defects found at work cells
*Facilitate RCAs & NCCAs
*Attend weekly QIT meeting
*Perform initial sorts on parts that may be nonconforming
*Pass information to supplier QE for further resolution as needed
*Support factory with troubleshooting containment process corrective action.
REQUIRED:
*Engineering degree or related technical background
*Demonstrated Skills in Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action
*Understanding of Mistake Proofing Techniques
*Demonstrated performance in cross functional teams
*Strong communication skills
