One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabiais looking to hire a Engineer Mechanical II who will be responsible for but not limited to:


Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure design deliverables are prepared with meticulous consideration for applicable codes and standards.
  • Prepare specifications conduct technical evaluations review supplier documentation and expedite with suppliers.
  • Apply mechanical and HVAC engineering principles techniques procedures and criteria for shipbuilding designs through thorough calculations.
  • Interface with other departments to incorporate the most uptodate input applicable to the designs.
  • Maintain the required technical quality of work in all deliverables.
  • Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process.
  • Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes standards regulations and procedures.
  • Attend and contribute to factory inspection reports.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to the scheduled completion of engineering documents.
  • Capture all changes/modifications in the deliverables initiated by the project prior to their release.
  • Ensure appropriate checking and review of all documents and drawings before release at any revision status.
  • Attend project review meetings and actively participate.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier documentation is received on time to facilitate project timelines.
  • Maintain control of the quality of engineering documents based on quality assurance criteria.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for change management and identify risks related to assigned activities.
  • Propose design improvements and share lessons learned for continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • at least 3 9 years in the engineering design department of any offshore shipbuilding or shipbuilding industry.
  • Experience as an EPC contractor and/or consultant is preferred.
