Required Qualifications
- MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
- Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship in Endocrinology
Service Line/Position Highlights
- Part of a large multispecialty cardiology & vascular clinic with integrated wound care bariatrics and endocrinology (94 providers total)
- Endocrinology team: 1 fulltime physicians; 3 Advanced Practice Providers
- 1518 patients per day on average in the clinic
- 12hour call schedule very conducive to a balanced life
- 23 rounding days in the hospital per month
- Potential clinical research opportunities
- Assistance from Advanced Practice Providers and Diabetes Nurse Educators
- A referral liaison to assist with introductions and management of relationships with referring providers
- Be included as an active member of our current metabolic group
- Administrative time for continued program growth and development
- Multidisciplinary team approach
