About The Position:
We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Employment and Whistleblower Law Litigator to join our team at Brown LLC. This crucial role demands exceptional litigation skills a deep understanding of employment law and whistleblower protections and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for our clients through effective courtroom representation. Responsibilities:
Represent clients in employment law and whistleblower cases in court
Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases
Draft legal documents including pleadings motions and briefs
Manage and oversee the progress of litigation cases
Collaborate with legal support staff and other attorneys
Communicate with clients and provide updates on case developments
Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution when appropriate
Prepare for and participate in court hearings and trials
Stay uptodate with changes in employment law and whistleblower protections
Maintain accurate records of case information and billable hours
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards and ethical guidelines
Perform other legal duties as assigned
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in the state of New Jersey
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Employment and Whistleblower Law Litigator or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of employment law whistleblower protections regulations and best practices
Proficiency in legal research and case management software (e.g. Westlaw LexisNexis Clio)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to upholding the principles of justice and the rights of clients
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive compensation ranging from $100000 to $200000 commensurate with experience
Generous bonuses based on performance
Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance retirement plans and 401k
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Telephone interviews will be conducted as part of the initial selection process before scheduling inperson interviews.
