Overview:
The ER Specialist Doctor at KM NU Ambur location plays a crucial role in providing immediate and efficient medical care to patients in the emergency room. They are responsible for assessing and stabilizing patients diagnosing medical conditions and ensuring timely treatment in highpressure situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate medical care and treatment to patients in the emergency room
- Assess and triage patients based on the severity of their condition
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the extent of injuries or illnesses
- Stabilize patients experiencing trauma cardiac arrest or other lifethreatening conditions
- Coordinate with nurses paramedics and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with specialists and consultants for complex cases
- Document patient medical records and keep accurate and detailed notes
- Participate in continuous medical education and training programs
- Adhere to all hospital policies protocols and safety regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of residency program in Emergency Medicine
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Proven experience working in a fastpaced emergency room setting
- Advanced clinical skills in emergency medical care and resuscitation
- Strong diagnostic abilities and familiarity with medical equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
