Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical care and treatment to patients in the emergency room
• Assess and triage patients based on the severity of their condition
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the extent of injuries or illnesses
• Stabilize patients experiencing trauma cardiac arrest or other lifethreatening conditions
• Coordinate with nurses paramedics and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with specialists and consultants for complex cases
• Document patient medical records and keep accurate and detailed notes
• Participate in continuous medical education and training programs
• Adhere to all hospital policies protocols and safety regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Completion of residency program in Emergency Medicine
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration
• Proven experience working in a fastpaced emergency room setting
• Advanced clinical skills in emergency medical care and resuscitation
• Strong diagnostic abilities and familiarity with medical equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
