Emergency Dispatch German speaking

We are collaborating with a toptier Outsourcing/BPO consultancy seeking to hire a Germanspeaking Emergency Services Representative for their team in Amsterdam. This fulltime position is based in Amsterdam The Netherlands with the flexibility to work from home 10% of the time.

Tasks

• Provide the highest level of service over the phone to individuals in critical emergency or distress situations
• Assess situations and share information with precision
• Exhibit keen attention to detail while managing multiple communication tools simultaneously

Requirements

• C1 proficiency in German both spoken and written and fluent in English (minimum B2 level)
• Emergency Services/Dispatcher qualification/experience of at least 6 months is essential
• Proven experience in emergency response and/or working in highpressure emergency communication center environments is preferred
• Experience in emergency dispatch healthcare (nurse doctors) military firefighting police flight dispatch or security
• Active experience of more than 6 months dealing with emergency situations with customers especially over the phone
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers promptly is essential
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to share information with precision and great attention to detail while handling multiple communication tools simultaneously is crucial for this role
• Prior experience working with a CAD (computerassisted dispatch) application would be considered a strong advantage
• Full working proficiency with MS Office is required
• Sound knowledge of laws protocols and compliance within an emergency services environment is preferable
• Flexibility with rotating scheduling which can include days nights and weekends as this will be a 24/7 operation with 5 days on and 2 days off per week
• Holder of a recent CPR certification can be an advantage
• Any prior experience in emergency fire or police dispatch will be considered beneficial for this role
• Ability to work from home about 10% of the time is required
