Embedded Linux Test Engineer (w/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:

As an Embedded Linux Test Engineer you play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded Linux products. Your main tasks include:

• Design develop and execute automated tests for embedded Linux systems
  
• Identify analyze and document defects and inconsistencies in the functionality output and user interface of products
  
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product design and requirements for accurate test planning
  
• Enhance and maintain the automated test environment for efficiency and coverage
  
• Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible and provide detailed feedback to developers
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA testing processes and strategies
  
• Stay uptodate with new testing tools and test strategies incorporating best practices into the testing cycle
  

What You Bring:

• A degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or similar qualification
  
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in testing embedded Linux systems
  
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Shell for test automation
  
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools and practices
  
• Familiarity with configuration management tools and version control systems
  
• Strong analytical skills with a detailoriented mindset
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken. German language skills are a plus
