Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for stators rotors and assemblies.
• Engage in the electromagnetics design process.
• Drive innovation and development in various areas including winding technology magnet technology steel stamping lamination joining electrical insulation systems interconnections and thermal sensing.
• Play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying suppliers for raw materials components and assemblies.
• Develop design validation and durability testing profiles.
• Ensure designs are optimized for highvolume production focusing on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) cost reduction strategies and sourcing alternatives.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements:

We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates extraordinary talent and a proven track record in motor design with experience in advancing projects from initial concepts to largescale production. The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience with various coil winding and termination technologies.
• A solid background in multiple magnet technologies.
• Experience in collaborating with international supply chains.
• A strong foundation in automotive design and validation processes.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D Drawings.
• Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).

Desirable Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with Catia software.
• Experience in Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) analysis.
