We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support a leading steel manufacturing company in Saukville WI.
This is an onsite role and relocation assistance is approved on a casebycase basis by the company.
Schedule: 5225 schedule (6pm 6am on a 5 on 2 off 2 on 5 off schedule)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment and effectively troubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery and systems.
- Analyze test results machine error messages and information obtained from operators to diagnose and repair.
- Be a valued member of the maintenance team interacting with production industrial maintenance and crossfunctionally to ensure reliability of equipment service safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Education:
- HS diploma or GED (required)
Required:
- 3 years of electrical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience with industrial electronics AC/DC theory power transmission test instruments and instrumentation VFD s PLC s ladder logic relay logic hydraulic and pneumatic systems motor controls and electrical construction.
- Ability to install troubleshoot and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and equipment manuals as guides.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe working behaviors including lockout fall protection confined space and mobile equipment operation.
- Great teamwork problemsolving organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship Journeyman Certification or equivalent work experience.
- Steel industry experience.
- Welding and light fabrication experience.
- Experience with industrial communication networks (Profibus Profinet Ethernet).
- Experience with Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control loops and combustion controls.
- Basic understanding of mechanical devices.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity working in a teambased environment.
- Safety awareness training.
