Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Industrial Site)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team at our industrial site. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical systems and operations ensuring reliability safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical systems including power distribution control systems and instrumentation at the industrial site.
   
2. Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of electrical equipment and systems.
   
3. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize production downtime.
   
4. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including maintenance operations and safety to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall site operations.
   
5. Assist in the design and implementation of electrical upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and productivity.
   
6. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes regulations and standards governing industrial operations.
   
7. Provide technical expertise and support to maintenance personnel assisting in training and skill development as needed.
   
8. Keep detailed records of electrical maintenance activities equipment performance and any incidents or failures for analysis and improvement purposes.
   
9. Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies and practices recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
   
10. Participate in safety meetings audits and initiatives to promote a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
    

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
   
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in an industrial setting.
   
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution motor control PLCs and instrumentation.
   
4. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical) for design and analysis purposes.
   
5. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
   
6. Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking and managing electrical maintenance activities.
   
7. Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
   
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
   
9. Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
   
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to electrical systems in industrial environments.
    
11. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
