Electrical Design Engineer
35k 45k DOE Based in Letchworth
Electrical Design of Bespoke Machinery Panel Layouts / Schematics / Loop Diagrams / Cable
5D Recruitment is proud to be working exclusively and in partnership with a leading engineering company based in the heart of the home counties to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer. Employing nearly 50 people they design manufacture assemble test and ship bespoke machinery from their new worldclass facility.
Requirements
What the Role Will Involve for the Electrical Design Engineer:
What we are looking for in the Electrical Design Engineer:
- You will be client facing right from the start of the process. This involves working with clients to agree the design specification regular client progress and design review meetings through to final client acceptance of the machine.
- Designing electrical hardware systems. This includes control panel layouts schematics specification of electrical components including motors breakers PLC hardware etc.
- Creation of BOM s manufacturing drawings and other supply chain and manufacturing documentation.
- Being the point of contact for production during the build and test phase.
What we are looking for in the Electrical Design Engineer:
- A background in electrical engineering and system design. This could be in any industry sector.
- CAD experience they use Eplan but happy to train on the package!
- A willingness to be trained and developed if you are hardware biased they will train in software and controls programming and vice versa.
- An excellent communicator you will be client facing liaising with the production and working as a design team to engineer the best solutions for the client.
