Electrical Apprentice

Ipsun Solar is looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join their team. You will contribute to the installation of solar systems across residential and commercial projects. Were seeking motivated individuals with foundational electrical experience and a willingness to grow within our dynamic team. Position Location: VA MD DC areas (with travel to job sites)

Type: Fulltime Regular Shifts: Monday Friday (limited night/weekend/oncall work)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of solar systems for residential and commercial projects.
• Work under the guidance of experienced electricians to learn and perform various electrical tasks.
• Gain handson experience with panel work conduit pulling and bending.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve project deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain tools equipment and a clean workspace.

Requirements:

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in electrical work or a related field.
• While licensing is not required candidates with relevant certifications or coursework in electrical studies are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Familiarity with panel installation conduit pulling and bending.
• Ability to work in the VA MD DC areas and travel to job sites as required.
• Willingness to learn take direction and contribute to a teamoriented environment.
• Strong commitment to safety practices.
• Physical ability to lift carry and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
