Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver highquality Drama lessons that meet curriculum standards and engage students interest and enthusiasm.
• Develop and implement creative and innovative teaching strategies to enhance students dramatic skills and knowledge.
• Assess and evaluate students progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes collaboration creativity and respect among students.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance assessments and other relevant data ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and participate in school events productions and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with students parents and staff to provide regular updates on students progress and address any concerns or challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Drama Performing Arts or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.
• Proven experience as a Drama Teacher preferably in a primary or secondary education setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of drama techniques styles and theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to create a safe inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and the school community.
