We are looking for Sr. Data Analyst (min 12 yrs+ exp) (LOCAL Candidates highly preferred) (either Webcam or In-person interviews)

Please note that this position is HYBRID. Most of the resources are currently working 1-2 days onsite. Manager will discuss HYBRID arrangement at the time of interview.
12 years of experience needed to serve as the subject matter expert on data architecture for the agency's multi-year Data Management Project to modernize the client's data management systems and implement an enterprise data warehouse.
The Data Management Project Data Analyst serves as the data analyst for the client's multi-year Data Management Project to modernize the client's data management systems and implement an enterprise data warehouse, with a focus on data asset analysis, supporting data quality measures, and the enhancement of reporting and analysis for program staff. Specific duties for the position include:
Specific Duties:
- Manage data assets and respond to data questions.
- Perform regular analyses on data assets to identify data quality or integrity issues.
- Support the Data Management Project team to develop and maintain data quality controls.
- Support the program staff and the Data Management Project team to develop and enhance data analysis and reporting to support program operations.
- Support business data stewards and Data Management Project team in maintaining accurate data asset meta-data and updating data documentation.
- Support the data stewards to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
- Support business users to obtain requirements for enhancements and/or new analytic assets, dashboards, and BI analytics, and BI usage support.
- Assist in the Development of data asset training and documentation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of a client's data standard.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of agency data security, privacy, policies, procedures, and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience (ensure this matches the required skills and background)
Programming: proficiency in SQL, Python, R, JavaScript, JSON, and Excel Formulas & Charts.
- Familiarity with Numpy and Pandas is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Erwin Modeler, SAS, and/or Stata is an added advantage.
Operating Systems: Windows and Linux.
Statistics: proficiency in applied statistical skills, including knowledge of probability, statistical inference, statistical tests, regression analysis, frequency distributions, and maximum likelihood estimators. Econometrics; Psychometrics; Time-Series Forecasting.
Data Visualization: proficiency in the use of Business Intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Plotly, Matplotlib, R-Markdown, D3, Excel Charts.
- The proven ability to create Dashboards in Tableau and/or MicroStrategy is an added advantage.
Machine Learning: proficiency in the use of machine learning methods like k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees, and Random Forest.
- Familiarity with Scikit-Learn, Sklearn, Scipy, and Statsmodels is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Pytorch, Spark, Tensorflow, and/or BigMLis an added advantage.
Nice to Have: Outstanding consultative skills, understanding business needs and translating those needs to technical requirements and solutions.
Nice to Have: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including business owners, leaders, and executives.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university in Computer Science, Information Management, or other relevant
