About the Company:
Crossroads Courier, Inc. is a privately held corporation, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, that provides time-critical, ground and air courier services to a wide spectrum of clients. Job Purpose:
To support our courier drivers while on the road and help facilitate the on-time delivery of all items to our customers using all resources available.
Schedule:
- Various schedules, including weekdays and weekends
- Fully Onsite
Duties:
- Provide logistical and operational support to contractors
- Deliver excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Assist in dispatching jobs to independent contractors
- Verify order delivery
- Miscellaneous office tasks (filing, data entry, report composition, special projects)
- Explore opportunities for improvement in all assigned tasks
Requirements
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a time-critical environment
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Ability to give clear and concise instructions via written and verbal mediums
- Capacity to make decisions in a high stress environment
- Thrives in fast pace work environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands multiple times throughout the day
- Capable of performing light warehouse duties as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Availability to work overtime including some evenings and weekends
- High School Diploma or GED
