Job Summary:

As the Director of Sales Operations, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and scaling our sales processes and operations to support our ambitious growth targets. You will lead a team of sales operations professionals to ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams. Your expertise in Salesforce and your high-caliber skill set will be essential to enhance efficiency, maximize revenue, and deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Strategy and Planning:
    • Collaborate with the executive team to develop sales strategies and initiatives aligned with company goals and objectives.
    • Conduct data-driven analysis to identify sales performance trends, opportunities, and challenges, and use the insights to optimize processes and strategies.
  • Salesforce Management:
    • Oversee the Salesforce CRM system, ensuring proper setup, data integrity, and integration with other platforms.
    • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet specific sales and reporting requirements.
    • Train and support sales representatives and managers in effectively using Salesforce to enhance their productivity.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
    • Streamline and standardize sales processes to improve efficiency, shorten sales cycles, and increase overall sales effectiveness.
    • Develop and implement sales playbooks and methodologies to ensure consistency across the sales team.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor sales performance and track progress towards targets.
    • Generate regular reports and presentations for the executive team to assess sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Sales Forecasting and Budgeting:
    • Work closely with finance and sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to project future sales growth and revenue opportunities.
  • Sales Training and Development:
    • Collaborate with sales leadership to design and deliver training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
    • Continuously assess the sales teams training needs and provide coaching and support to ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Foster strong relationships with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of strategies.
    • Drive collaboration between sales and other departments to maximize revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Technology and Tools:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest sales technologies and tools, recommending and implementing new solutions to improve sales productivity.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior sales operations leadership role within a high-growth software or technology company.
  • Extensive experience and expertise in Salesforce configuration and administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions based on insights.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
