Responsibilities of the Position

• Leads, manages, and is accountable for all fundraising activities and meeting annual goals for operations and
  
• Creates a development plan for the organization and executes it
  
• Guides and maintains participation and compliance with the funding process among the
  
• Leads and directs the organizational funding pipeline and activities on a weekly
  
• Develops and directs fundraising strategies, campaigns, activities, and
  
• Leads and manages the development
  
• Prepares and implements the capitalization
  
• Serves as an active member of the Entrepreneur Fund Leadership
  

Requirements of the Position

• Experience and education which demonstrates the capability to be a Director of Strategic
  
• First-hand fundraising experience for a non-profit organization and a demonstrated ability to walk into corporate
  
• Ability to advocate for the organization confidently and effectively: make direct asks & close on fundraising requests especially large ones, negotiate grants/loan agreements to meet needs, and maintain strong funder boundaries related to work scope &
  
• Strong financial acumen with the capability to understand and articulate the organization s financial needs and convert this information into competitive
  
• Training, public speaking, and/or facilitation experience and
  
• Strong racial equity lens and cultural
  
• Strong adaptive, interpersonal, and written
