We are seeking a talented and seasoned Sales Director to lead our sales efforts to the next level. You must have a vision for developing and implementing sales plans to increase the company s profit and motivate employees to hit these sales goals. You should possess strong leadership and teambuilding skills to oversee our entire sales organization and be able to work with the company s executive team to improve current sales target strategies.


Specific Job Duties:


  • Manage the daytoday operations of the sales department using innovative sales principles techniques and leadership skills.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales across all channels for both distributed brands and the company s proprietary brands.
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments and management personnel to increase communications that lead to overall company growth and success.
  • Build and maintain longlasting strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Optimize relationships with key accounts in order to gain market share and brand positioning.
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure executive team is informed on the progress of those goals.
  • Understand nutritional supplement industryspecific trends and landscapes.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing clients.
  • Attend trade shows to promote products and interact with potential clients.
  • Demonstrate goaloriented businesstobusiness sales performance and success.
  • Prospect and contact potential clients to create new sales channels.
  • Inspire motivate and lead resultsdriven teams within the sales organization including Customer Service Education Team and Sales Support.
  • Such other duties as assigned by executive management.
  • Collaborates in person with executive management and sales team members.
  • Frequent travel required to company headquarters key accounts tradeshows etc.


Requirements

  • Seven years toplevel sales management experience in the natural products industry.
  • Degree in business or related field or comparable industry experience.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
  • Proven negotiation listening and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products.
  • Computer proficiency (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of how to develop clientfocused differentiated and achievable solutions.
  • Understanding of how to position products against competitors.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisionmaking.
  • Experience developing target account strategies sales plans new business proposals and negotiating pricing packaging and delivery terms.
  • Proven track record of success in positions of increasing responsibility.
