About the Role

As the Director of Pharmaceutical Services youll be at the helm of our pharmacy services division steering all facets of our pharmacy operations. This pivotal role encompasses strategic oversight team leadership adherence to regulatory standards and the assurance of topnotch pharmacy services delivery. You will be instrumental in collaborating with healthcare executives to elevate patient care refine medication management practices and fulfill the organizations objectives. Your responsibilities also extend to guiding the pharmacy team in business and client engagement strategies as well as fostering their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the efficiency service quality and expansion of our pharmacy operations.
  
• Work in tandem with upper management to ensure pharmacy services are in sync with the companys vision and mission.
  
• Manage daily pharmacy operations including but not limited to prescription processing inventory oversight medication dispensation and administrative duties.
  
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory mandates encompassing state and federal pharmacy regulations safety protocols and internal policies.
  
• Supervise the medication shipping and distribution processes ensuring compliance with cold chain management and relevant guidelines.
  
• Formulate and uphold procedures for safe medication handling storage and dispensation.
  
• Evaluate performance indicators and spearhead initiatives for operational improvement and patient care enhancement.
  
• Lead the pharmacy personnel by setting definitive objectives promoting a cohesive team environment and encouraging professional development.
  
• Execute additional responsibilities as necessitated by the organization.
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• A Bachelor s degree in a relevant field.
  
• PharmD or RPh certification.
  
• A minimum of 57 years in a leadership role within the pharmacy or broader healthcare sector showcasing a track record of escalating responsibility in personnel management project oversight and pharmacy operations.
  
• Profound understanding of pharmacy practice norms regulatory compliance and principles of quality control.
  
• Competent in handling multiple tasks simultaneously making critical decisions in highpressure scenarios and achieving desired outcomes.
  
• Exceptional leadership prowess alongside stellar communication and interpersonal skills.
  

Desirable Attributes

• 57 years of experience specifically in specialty pharmacy operations.
