Director Of Nutritional Services

TrisianGlobal Consulting is seeking a fulltime permanent Director of Nutritional Services at an Onsite Medical Center in Los Alamos NM.

$ 10000.00 SignOn bonus available for twenty four month commitment

$ 1000.00 Housing Allowance for up to twelve months upon relocation

This position manages a staff including Executive Chef Cooks Nutrition Aide and Clinical Dietician. and directs the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with department and organizational objectives.

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Directs staff relations including performance management staff satisfaction and conflict management.
• Performs and oversees scheduling staff development recruitment payroll and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets regulatory compliance departmental contracts and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases monitors usage and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
• Ensures all regulatory requirements and metrics are met on a continual basis.
• Ensures that food prepared and served to our patients and staff is high quality attractive and nutritious and meets all dietary guidelines.
• This position will also oversee caterings for meetings and events.

The successful candidate must have:

• At least 3 years of food service experience
• At least 2 years of previous significant leadership experience
• Certified Food Manager (CFM) or must obtain within 18 months of hire
