We are hiring Director of Nursing for a Nursing Home in Wexford Ireland.
The nursing home will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the centre of all we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team ensuring that all staff are fully trained and competent to carry out their roles
- Work with other members of the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the best possible care for residents.
- Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and that the nursing home is fully compliant with all relevant legislation.
- Current registration with NMBI
Requirements
- Current registration with NMBI
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Senior Nursing Management position in a nursing home environment.
- Have an appropriate qualification in health or social care management to at least QQI Level 6.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication Leadership and organisational skills with the ability to build strong relationships with residents families and staff.
