    Purpose of the Position

    We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Market Development. This is a newly created position that will play a crucial role in advancing our organizations mission by leading the development of the investing for impact sector in Europe and the mobilization of capital and stakeholders for impact.


    Key Responsibilities

    Help position the organization as the investing for impact network in Europe by building a network that is representative of the market and a series of partnerships initiatives that enable the mobilization of capital and stakeholders for impact while ensuring the long term financial sustainability of the organization.

    Serve as thought partner to the CEO and work closely as a member of an executive team and broader leadership to refine overall organizational strategy and goals ensuring the organizations mission is realized through innovation integration clear prioritization and high impact operation.

    1) Business Development
    Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve business objectives
    Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
    Analyze market trends and investors preferences to make datadriven decisions and adapt to changing market dynamics
    Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand the organisations portfolio and revenue stream

    2) Market Development:

    Bring additional capacity to the market development and community engagement activities across segments (from foundations/ philanthropy to institutional investing)
    Represent and be an ambassador of the investing for impact community visvis the impact sector and wider stakeholders
    Identify untapped opportunities to mobilize more stakeholders/ more capital for impact (new markets new segments)
    Build and develop market building and funding partnerships

    3) Network Development:

    Support the membership development team to ensure growth engagement and satisfaction targets are delivered and the membership voice (needs insights input) is well integrated in the Organizations plans.

    4) Strategic Leadership:

    Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
    Design and oversee the implementation of streamlined workflows to achieve organizational objectives.
    Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure effective alignment of objectives and priorities.
    Create a donorcentered approach to engagement ensuring that supporters are wellinformed and enthusiastic about our mission.
    Lead a team of 56 senior professionals

    Organizations presence / credibility in key impact investing circles
    Retention and development of key talent in the team

      Requirements and competences to work with us

      Education
      Master Degree in Business Development Business Administration Sustainable Development Impact Investing or a related discipline.
      Fluent English level (C1)
      Additional language would be a plus.

      Experience
      10 years of professional experience among which several years in senior leadership roles with demonstrated track record in strategic vision and leading a senior team (including P&L management)

      Experience in partnership building and/ or fundraising
      Ability to demonstrate a passion for accelerating impact/ positive change and ecosystem building
      Used to work in a matrix environment collaborative in nature

      Knowledge and Skills

      A deep understanding of the Impact Ecosystem in Europe including knowledge of key players trends and challenges. Familiarity with the European financial landscape and policy environment related to sustainable development.
      Strategic and consulting sales skills along with market development and account management.
      Partnerships building and/or fundraising.
      Modern leadership based on trust empowerment and accountability.
      Agile way of working goal oriented.

        For this position additionally to the compensation we offer:

          Availability to travel is requiered: The person will be asked to attend conferences or important events along the year. (3 internal events conferences in Europe and 1 or 2 punctual travels outside Europe)
